Frequently Asked Questions: Residential
MVP offers residential snow plow on a contract basis only to our HOME 365 customers whom we service all year round. We do not offer per occurrence residential snow services.
Of course you can! First, we would need to bring our team over to do an initial cleanup to your entire property. Then it will be ready for our weekly maintenance crew.
We do not have a minimum fee for work that needs to be done for contract customers. However, if you are not a contract customer, we do have a $2500 minimum service charge per visit. Got a laundry list of landscape to-dos? We recommend loading up on all the services you need to cover the minimum charge. Time to put us to work!
Unfortunately, we do not do bi-weekly mows for residential contracts. We want to make your home look the best, and we believe this is most effective with weekly maintenance.
We do weed the beds if you have a landscaping contract with us and use us to install mulch. This way we start with a clean slate and keep it that way all season long.
We can offer one-time cuts in addition to other services that meet our $600 minimum charge but we do not offer temporary contracts.
Unfortunately, MVP is unable to service one-time calls due to the fact that our equipment is fully utilized for our HOME 365 clients.
We apply a standard 5-step program of granular fertilizer. It is safe for children and pets after 24 hours and will be labeled with small flags after every application.
Our HOME 365 package includes weekly lawn maintenance from roughly mid-April till mid-November, a spring cleanup, a fall cleanup and snow plowing. We offer additional services such as fertilizer, mulching, mid-season trimming, de-icing, and sidewalk services. This package is broken into 12 monthly payments that start around $200 a month for the standard service.
We have a third-party company that does irrigation service for us but we can facilitate all the work, scheduling, and billing for our contract customers.
We can prune trees and cut down small trees under 10 feet. We also offer stump grinding.
We do not offer lawn rolling. If you have an urgent need, please contact us to discuss a custom quote.

Though we do manage landscape design and installation on commercial properties, we recommend working with a landscape designer or architect first. Once your vision is on paper, we can provide an accurate quote. Don’t know any landscape designers? Use ours! Our fee starts at $400 and includes two revisions to ensure we capture your vision.

We have the ability to use all types and colors you request, but our go-to is a black or brown, hardwood double-shredded that is installed either by hand or blown in.
We offer mulch installation to any type of client, however, our contracted customers have priority when it comes to scheduling.
MVP currently does not use the H2B program at this time and hires all team members locally.
MVP does have access to a landscape architect, but is not an in-house employee. We typically ask for 2-4 weeks for design work to be completed depending on the size of the project.
MVP uses all types of mowers and will match the correct one to the specific job. All of our operators are trained on each mower to prevent damage or injury.
When MVP first started we were primarily a sidewalk snow service company. We have never lost that focus and continue to improve our operation with training and state-of-the-art sidewalk equipment.
